Here's an update from the Bath Interact  Club.

The Bath High School Interact Club is off to great start for the 2016-17 year. There are about 30 students and they meet once a week before school.
They are currently conducting a school wide effort to promote the positive use of social media, as well as the associated dangers and risks of misuse.

On November 28th the club will host a school wide assembly focused on Suicide Prevention. Nationally recognized speaker Kevin Hines will make a
presentation to students grades 6-12. The Bath Interact Club secured funding for this event through donations. They also plan to make banners and posters
to promote the helpline number and spread awareness throughout the school.

Several of the Bath High School Interact students are planning to attend the Rotary Club Special Needs Christmas Party on December 10th. They will assist with games and activities. They are practicing making “balloon animals” and other fun events for the attendees.

A future fundraiser is currently being planned for February. The Interact Club will host a “Father/Daughter” dance at the elementary school with proceeds going to a local charity. The charity being considered is the Rotary “Field of Dreams.”

The students would like to attend a Lima Rotary Club meeting after the first of the year to give an update on all of the projects they have been working on. They are also working on memorizing the Rotary “Four Way Test.”
