The Lima Rotary Club is celebrating its 100th anniversary by investing $100,000 in the Lima/Allen County Community.
 
In celebration of its 100th anniversary in 2015, the Lima Rotary Club is investing $100,000 in the Lima/Allen County community.  Any tax exempt charitable or governmental organization is eligible to apply for the funding.  A single grant or multiple awards may be made, totaling $100,000.  ‘Legacy’ projects that would leave a lasting impact on the community will be given special consideration.  The winning grant(s) will be announced at the Lima Rotary Club’s Centennial Gala on March 21, 2015.  
 
The $100,000 is being supplied by the Lima Rotary Foundation, whose mission is to provide grants for educational, charitable, scientific, or benevolent purposes for the betterment of the Lima/Allen County community.  Lima Rotary Club members have donated the money either directly to the 
Foundation or through various fundraisers.
