Doug Adams brought his guitar and shared some folk songs with us.

We had a great time at Rotary singing folk songs with Doug Adams. He led us through classics like "If I Had A Hammer," "Where Have All the Flowers Gone," "Blowing in the Wind," and "This Land is Your Land." We even brought out kazoos for a fun rendition of I'm In Love With a Big Blue Frog. Doug gave us a brief history of each song and told us how they were statements about society. Dick Warren started the meeting by having us sing the 4 Way Test...rather badly...but with spirit.
Also, Lisa Hummel introduced us to the members of the new Rotaract Club at UNOH. They're hoping to sign 15 students up for the club, and they're looking for 2-3 Rotarians to help them out.
We welcomed new Lima Rotary board members Jeff Tracy, Susan Hubbell and Paul Swartz.
Jon Rockhold and Dave Cockerell received their Paul Harris +1 awards. And President David suggested that we volunteer for the Ottawa River Cleanup on April 23. Meet at the Red Cross Chapter House at 9:00am if you're interested.
Kirk Slusher was our member spotlight. Kirk went to work for ODOT fresh out of college and has been there for more than 30 years, working his way through the design department and planning department to Deputy Director of District 1, a post he's held for five years.
