Local girls' basketball teams are ready for a great season!
Women's Basketball Preview
We need volunteers for the Salvation Army Bell Ringing - 12/12 - Sign up and practice your Ho-Ho-Ho's !!
Today was the first ever Women's Basketball Preview, with 9 area schools participating. The women did not devastate the buffet nearly as much as the Men's football event - but they ate plenty. It was a nice change-of-pace to hear the women coaches interviewed, and Vince Koza was as effective as always. The main quote to take away from the meeting:
"You can coach only to a certain point - you have to have players in order to win. A donkey has never run in the Kentucky Derby!"
