During the month of February in a visit to San Pedro Sula we became aware of a severe need for hospital beds throughout Honduras. MESA has shipped over 200 beds YTD. Pictured are beds which were placed in Progresso Hospital in Honduras. Our partner club Usula Rotario has surveyed the need in seven different areas of San Pedro Sula. Our current need is for 400 beds.

The same trip produced a situation at the Autonomous University a public university in San Pedro Sula where Dental Students are being taught dentistry. Students were using plastic chairs tilted back and held up by 2 X 4’s to have a fellow student available for practical hands on training. MESA found 21 dental chairs and shipped them in September.
