Congratulations to the big winners in the Jay Begg Reverse Raffle!
The club drew the remaining numbers in the Jay Begg Reverse Raffle on Monday.
$500 for the 150th ticket drawn went to Janie Herwig.
Jim Osmon won $1,000 as the holder of the 198th ticket drawn.
Michael Lee won $2,500 for having the 199th ticket drawn.
And Chief Joe Kitchen was the big winner of $5,000! Congratulations to all the winners and thank you for supporting the Lima Rotary Foundation. The proceeds will be used to support nonprofit organizations here in Allen County and around the world.
Thank you to everyone that helped support our PolioPlus initiative by purchasing Rotary apparel! We greatly appreciate all of the support for this important initiative. Together we can help rid the world of this horrible disease.

The annual Rotary Tour for MESA is coming up in June.
Whether you are a new Rotarian, or a very seasoned one, I am writing to let you know about MESA's upcoming fundraiser, the Rotary Tour for MESA. This year, the bike tour will run from Saturday, June 24 through Wednesday, June 28. Riders are also encouraged to meet the evening of Friday, June 23 at Kalahari in Sandusky to participate in the installation ceremonies for new District leadership, including incoming District Governor, Jim Duke.
The Tour will then launch from Sandusky on Saturday morning, June 24, with the following itinerary: Saturday, June 24: Sandusky-Marblehead-Port Clinton-Oak Harbor-Fremont Sunday, June 25 (noon launch): Fremont-Clyde-Bellevue-Milan-Norwalk Monday, June 26: Norwalk-Ashland-Oberlin Tuesday, June 27: Oberlin-Elyria-Avon/North Coast-Lorain Wednesday, June 28: Lorain-Amherst-Vermilion-Huron-Sandusky
We trust you can join us, at least for 1 or 2 days, if not for the whole tour.
In the meantime, please MARK YOUR CALENDARS, begin contacting potential sponsors, and recruit riders to represent your club in the tour. Fourth generation in the family of Rotary
Taylor Randall has been a participant in Interact, Rotary Youth Exchange, Rotex (Rotary Youth Exchange alumni) and the National Youth Science Forum, founded by Rotarians in Australia. She is the fourth generation of her family to be involved in Rotary, as her great grandfather was the charter president of the Rotary Club of Nerang, Queensland, Australia. In celebration of Rotary Youth Service Month, Randall, a member of Rotary’s Youth Advisory Council, shares how youth programs have shaped her life.
Rotarians in India, Pakistan promote peace at sacred site
The massive Kartarpur Sahib complex in Pakistan near the border of India is a holy site for Sikhs in both countries. In March, leaders in Rotary District 3080 in India organized a large meetup there with counterparts in Pakistan District 3272, creating twin club connections in advance. The day of the event, more than 200 Rotarians from both countries shook hands, exchanged club banners, and forged new foundations for peace between the two countries.
