District 6600 Governor Gary Newton encourages us to work toward a better community and a better world.
Fr. Ross led the club in singing "God Bless America" - and in singing to Paul Yessenow, who turned 90 !!
Fellowship was by Dick Schroeder, who gave us a primer on Columbus Day.
10/28 - we need volunteers for handing out dictionaries in the local schools - call or email David Runk to help.
This week's speaker was our district governor - Gary Newton.
A few important points from Gary's talk were that he actually turned down his Rotary invitation TWICE before joining. Once he did join, he rose quickly to lead 2 different clubs in his career. Following a near death experience while on vacation in Hawaii - Gary renewed his vigor for helping others and began to work in regional and international service...
