Do you have an emergency plan for your business?

Fellowship was by Scott Shafer, followed by Cindy Wood and a brief update on our $100,000 Rotary project status.

Harold Bischoff talked about Rotary International - with an interesting presentation that traced our specific donations here in Lima to the success stories in several Latin American countries. It's amazing to hear just how far our dollars travel, and how effective they are in helping people with basic needs.

Our speaker was Bath Fire Chief Joe Kitchen - and an interesting program illustrating how fire departments and local industry form partnerships that save industry employees: and the firefighters that walk TOTALLY the other way most of us do when dealing with a building on fire...

Industrial fires are quite different from residential ones - and knowing what potential hazards are on site - down to their location in the warehouse - can make the difference between a lengthy cleanup and a total loss.

The key is a knowledge exchange before the emergency - so be sure and make your local fire department a partner in your emergency action plan.
