Your help is needed at the District 6600 4-Way Test Speech Contest.
This is a call for help and a reminder about the Four-Way Test Speech Contest. First, I am seeking volunteers to act as judges, a time keeper, and score tally helpers. The contest begins at 9:30 a.m. at the EHOVE Career Center near Milan (address below) and will likely run until approximately 1:00 p.m. If you can volunteer your morning in any one of these responsibilities, I would greatly appreciate it. Please reply to this email or contact me at director@oberlinheritage.org or 440-935-3072. Experience is appreciated but not necessary and I will provide training materials in advance and an overview that morning. These students do an amazing job and I know you will enjoy the experience.
This is also a quick reminder to Club Presidents and Contest Coordinators - club contests should be completed and your student registration form sent to me by March 29. Thank you! So far I have noted that the following clubs are having contests: Bellevue, Bucyrus, Elyria, Huron, Lorain, Mansfield, Marion, New Bremen / New Knoxville, North Coast, Oberlin, Perrysburg, Sandusky, St. Marys, Tiffin, Van Wert, Vermilion, and Wauseon. Please note that in previous years we’ve had unregistered students arrive at the contest and while they were able to participate, personalized materials were not available for them. Please be sure to send your forms when they are available!
