February Board Meeting Highlights

The Lima Rotary Board held a joint meeting with the Lima Rotary Foundation Board on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Shawnee Country Club.
- The two boards discussed how the Foundation allocates funds for grants, international service and the Presiden'ts Club funds.
- The Next Big Project applicants have been narrowed down to three and each project will be presented to the Club on February 27, 2012. Details for each project are available on the website at www.limarotary.com on the homepage in the download portion of the page on the lefthand side. Members will have two weeks to ask questions and get responses before voting on their favorite project.
- Members who are passed due on their Rotary dues will receive letters explaining the process for removal from the Club if their dues are not paid.
- The District Conference is April 19-22 in Toledo and the Board voted to have a booth that displays Lima's club accomplishments.
- The District Assembly is March 31 in Bowling Green.
- Two transfer Rotarians and one new applicant are scheduled to attend New Member Orientation on March 1, 2012.
