The Lima Rotary Foundation awards quarterly grants.
The Lima Rotary Foundation Board met to review six community grant applications, continuing our commitment to supporting the community initiatives, arts, and youth programs.
Here is a summary of the funding decisions approved during our last meeting.
Approved Community Grants:
Spread the love – The board voted to approve a $1,000 grant to support Spread the Love, assisting in their ongoing efforts to address community needs and provide peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to kids that are in need of a meal.
Lima Symphony Orchestra - The board voted to approve a $3,865 grant to Lima Symphony Orchestra to help support educational outreach and community music programs.
To ensure through review and alignment with current budget cycles, two funding requests were tabled and will be re-evaluated at future meetings: Freedom Summer School and Alberta and Richard Lee Volunteer Awards (Replacing Jefferson Awards).
