The Lima Rotary Club and the Greater Lima Region have announced the name of the downtown amphitheater.
Greater Lima Region, Inc (GLR) and Rotary Club of Lima have announced the official name of the downtown amphitheater, along with unveiling the official logo. In October 2019, GLR made a sizable investment in the Rotary-led project, securing the naming rights to the venue. Doug Olsson, President/CEO of GLR says “We’re very pleased to partner with Rotary Club of Lima on this project and to officially introduce Greater Lima Region Park & Amphitheater. We believe this park will have a major impact on our region and continues the revitalization efforts in Lima. This project, from the beginning, aligned perfectly with GLR’s strategic goals of stimulating economic development and investing in community development initiatives.” “Rotary could not thank Greater Lima Region enough for their investment in our community and into the amphitheater and park,” said Tracie Sanchez, President of Lima Pallet and Lima Rotary Club Past President. “This park will serve all of our community and the name “Greater Lima Region Park & Amphitheater” accurately reflects the regional impact we believe this venue will have. Bringing our community together in a beautiful setting for concerts, events and other activities was the vision from the start.”
