2024 Ends Strong with Lima Rotary Foundation fund raisers.
December has been a busy month for Lima Rotarians, and it has resulted in nearly $26,000 being raised for the Lima Rotary Foundation!
Christmas Extravaganza Everyone had a great time Monday at our annual Christmas Extravaganza, co-chaired this year by Michael Sarno and Russ Decker. Congratulations to Judge Payne for winning the opportunity to host “Elvis” in his office for the next year and for winning the $1,000 grand prize in the raffle!
A special thanks to Troy Elwer for his assistance with the event and to all the Rotarians who donated and/or purchased silent and live auction items as well as participating in the annual holiday raffle. This year’s Extravaganza raised $7,929!
Holiday Home Tour
Our inaugural Holiday Home Tour event exceeded expectations, raising more than $18,000 for our Lima Rotary Foundation!
Special thanks to the six homeowners who opened their homes for our tour and to our major sponsors (Central District, Cenovus, Mercy Health, Nutrien), as well as the florists and bakers who provided the extra touches to put this event over the top. We are already starting to line-up the homes for the 2025 tour.
