The Bath Interact Club did a great job helping with the Special Needs Christmas Party!

The Bath High School Interact Club students did a great job at the Lima Rotary Special-Needs Christmas Party on Saturday, 12/10/16 at the Shawnee United Methodist Church. They got there at 9:45 AM and helped set up tables and organize stations for the party attendees. They helped unload items and carry them into the venue. Interact members assisted with keeping track of gifts for the party guests as they arrived from Rotary members. The students manned several of the craft stations including; balloon animal making, face painting, reindeer antler making, as well as other tasks as assigned.
Several of the students also spent one on one time with kids who were in attendance at the party.
The Interact Club students showed patience and compassion toward those in attendance and many mentioned how much they enjoyed working with the attendees. When the event was over, they also helped with cleanup. Again, I was so proud of them and their efforts.
Thank you for your continued support of this club. I believe the work that the students are doing is vital to our school and our community.
