The Bath High School Interact Club has been busy as usual with several community service projects and volunteer opportunities for our members.
In addition to meeting every other Friday during the school day for about 30 minutes, our members set a goal of conducting 24 hours of service each year.

Here is an overview of some of our most recent projects:

On February 21st (President’s Day) we used our day off school to visit the West Ohio Food Bank in the morning to help pack boxes for senior citizens. This is
one of our favorite events.

Also, later that same day we teamed up with the Allen East High School SADD Chapter to conduct a “Reality Party” where students enacted many things that can
go wrong at a non-chaperoned high school party.

On March 12th we hosted our “Father/Daughter” Dance at Bath Elementary school for students grades K-5. This is a huge project and took the help of lots of our club members.
This is our only fundraiser of the year and the money goes for college scholarships. We all went home tired after this long (but fun) day of service!

We still have some events coming up including the Bath HS Mock Crash, and Click It or Ticket seatbelt check. We also plan to support the students participating in the 4 Way Speech Contest.

We can’t wait to see everyone at our 2022 Pinning Ceremony on May 16th at the Lima Rotary Club meeting.
