The club experience: A focus on personal growth
Research shows that members are more satisfied with their membership — and more likely to stay in clubs — when their involvement helps them develop skills that contribute to their personal and professional growth.
Foster personal growth by planning club events that build members’ skills in developing positive and inclusive relationships.
By taking the Microaggressions course in the Learning Center, they can learn important skills that they can apply in both their personal and professional lives.
Several courses and learning plans in the Learning Center will be updated on 15 June. Don’t forget to save your learning plan reports on 12 June, because those will be the last reports of the Rotary year.
If you revisit a course you’ve completed and notice that some materials aren’t marked as completed, this means either that new content has been added to the course or that the material has been updated. Be sure to go back to your favorite courses in the Learning Center to check for any new additions.
What's happening in Rotary
For Youth Service Month this May, take time to review expert tips for advisers who want to empower young people to develop real-world leadership skills through service-learning. Take the courses in Service-Learning for Advisers to find out how you can guide young people who participate in community service and evaluate what they learn.
We invite all Rotaractors to tell us how you’re currently being prepared for your roles as leaders of your clubs and communities.
Tell us what courses and resources should be offered in the Learning Center, as well as what you think about the courses that are already there. Are they helping you and your Rotaract club? We want to hear from you.
