Lima Rotary Foundation Awards Grants

The Lima Rotary Foundation awarded its quarterly grants at its July meeting.

The Lima Rotary Foundation awarded $5,500 in grants during its meeting on July 28:

Lima Symphony Orchestra - $3,000 with full funding for tickets for Marimor students, and balance in support of LSO Kidstuff and the Lima Youth Symphony Concert programs
Hope Visitation and Exchange Center - $1,000 in support of their mission of providing a safe place for parents and families during often-times difficult divorce and custody situations
Allen County DARE program - $1,500 in support of purchase of T-shirts for all DARE participants, namely fifth grade students in all Allen County schools.

The Foundation Board also voted to appoint Mr. David Collins as Secretary to the Foundation Board. We welcome him in his new role of service. In addition, we would like to recognize Rita’s service as Secretary—she has been a very effective and thoughtful resource in her role for many years and will be greatly missed.
