Holding the Congress in Melbourne reflects Australia’s ongoing support towards the goal of Malaria elimination, such as the government’s recent $266m contribution to the Global Fund replenishment and the Malaria Vaccine Project, a research partnership between Griffith University and Rotarians Against Malaria (RAM), which I am proud to have been involved with since its inception.
