Thank you to Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center for donating 6 incubator/warmer beds and two wheelchairs to Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad.
The beds are GE Healthcare OmniBeds which combine two traditional infant care products in one: a full-featured incubator and a radiant warmer. The infant receives uniform heat, regardless of position.
In the United States, there’s a huge wealth of usable medical equipment and supplies that are no longer in service. The second-hand surplus in our country is often state-of-the-art to the healing needs of developing countries. MESA collects, sorts, identifies, stores and ships millions of dollars of still-usable medical supplies and equipment to countries around the world that need them.
