The MESA Bike Tour is the first week in June.
M.E.S.A. 2018 Bike Tour will be from June 1st to June 5th.  May 31st is a bonus ride along the River in Toledo. Overnight stops in Sandusky, Bucyrus, Marion, Mansfield, and Ashland. This year we will be the first ever ride on a Rails-to-Trails bike path from Mansfield to Butler.  Total mileage for the week is 300 miles. The tour will end on June 5, 2018 in Lorain.

Becky Waggamon will be riding in the MESA Bike Tour this year starting May 31st through June 5th. Cat Sarno will ride one day.  If you’d like to sponsor Becky or Cat, you can donate by pledge form, online, or mail in a check to: M.E.S.A. Treasurer, 1092 Bending Brook Lane, Waterville, Ohio 43566  or donate online at:  http://www.rotarymesa.org/donate.html   All proceeds go to help the M.E.S.A. mission of sending Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad.

The M.E.S.A. Bike Tour is not just for a select few. You can join us for a day on the Tour. If you can’t ride a full day, ride a portion of a day. This tour has allowed Rotarians to get in shape and find beauty along the scenic roads in our district. The bike tour has rest stops about every 10 miles. We average a 10-mph pace with breaks for rest, water, and snacks. Most days we travel 50 to 60 miles. The M.E.S.A. Bike Tour will allow Rotarians to visit Rotary Clubs all around our district.

The cost is $50 a day. The funds raised from this bike tour are used for the operation of our warehouse at 1370 North Main St. Fostoria, OH and for the shipping of donated equipment. M.E.S.A. bikers solicit funds from friends and relatives to make this possible. Our goal this year is $55,000. This amount represents over half of the M.E.S.A. operating budget.
