Oct 24, 2022 is World Polio Day and that marks the kick off of the October Polio Plus initiative in the Lima Rotary. As you know, the Lima Rotary joins Rotarians from around the world in an effort to eliminate polio. The vaccine is 99% effective if given fully. The worst forms of polio cause paralysis and there is no cure. This means that prevention/vaccination is the best proven course of action.
