Timely triage
A multiyear medical mission in Moldova is adapting to both pandemic and war. Stephen Mackler was on a medical mission to Bucharest, the capital of Romania, in 1999 when a colleague pulled him aside to request he join him in going to Moldova. That was the beginning of a medical mission that has spanned decades and multiple countries, adapting to different circumstances along the way. Read more of the story
