| Calgary calls | For centuries, people have gathered at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow Rivers in Calgary, Canada. Next year, it will be Rotary’s turn, as members, family, and friends worldwide will gather there for the 2025 Rotary International Convention, 21-25 June. | Grow your club by reconnecting with former members | As Nitin Kapur approached her year as president of the Rotary Club of Chandigarh Midtown in India, she reflected on many former members whose energy and passion had been instrumental in building the club. She decided to call each of them and invite them to a special Alumni Meet to give them a chance to reconnect with the club and see what they were missing. The ensuing phone conversations were some of the most fulfilling of her life and had powerful results. Six alumni members rejoined the club after the event.
