Runk Goodbye

David Runk wraps up his year as President of the Lima Rotary Club.
 
My Fellow Rotarians,
 
I wanted to take a moment to once again thank you for the opportunity to serve as the president of our Lima Rotary Club.  It was an amazing and enjoyable experience; one that I will always treasure and of which I am extremely proud.  We accomplished much together and made a difference in the world, both locally and globally.
 
I particularly want to thank Esther Baldridge, Dave Frost, Tracie Sanchez, Scott Shafer, Rita Brown and Kevin Bill for their hard work and valuable counsel.  I also want to thank Bob Ruehl for all of his hard work and for the occasional “kick in the backside”.   I was also blessed to work with a very fine Board of Directors and Foundation Board.  Finally, since I fear that I will forget someone, please know that each and every committee chair person with whom I had the honor to work on this project and that project, on various committees and other communications.  I consider you all to be very dear to me and I treasure you as friends and colleagues.
 
I’m quite confident that President Dave Frost, President-Elect Tracie Sanchez and the entire team will do a wonderful job over the course of the next Rotary year.  I’m looking forward to their leadership and assisting them in whatever way that I can.
