The Lima Rotary Club awards its quarterly scholarships.
On Monday August 28, 2017, twenty-two (22) non-traditional students were awarded Lima Rotary Club Certificates acknowledging their scholarship awards in the amount of $500 for those pursuing certificate programs and $1,000 for degreed programs for Fall 2017. Students are pursuing higher education in Sociology, Medical Social Worker, Registered Nursing, AS in Nursing, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Elementary Education and AA Human Services. These students plan to attend Apollo Career Center, Bluffton University, The Ohio State University – Lima, and Rhodes State College and the University of Northern OH. Congratulations to each of them! Currently, the program has awarded 916 scholarships for a total of $649,750.
