Retired general thinks Ukraine can win the war.
Retired General Mark Scheid spent 30 years in the U.S. Army and he says that based on his experience, including writing strategic war plans for Afghanistan and Iraq, "Ukraine's got this war won." Scheid gave several reasons for this, the first one being logistics. Scheid says Russia's military equipment is burning 11 million gallons of fuel per day and  their army has to feed thousands of troops. "They gotta get food, they gotta get fuel, they gotta get ammunition, all this has to be resupplied at least every three days." Scheid also points to the assistance Ukraine is receiving from 32 nations, the strong fighting by the Ukranians, and Russia's heavy losses of both soldiers and equipment. "I don't see how they can lose. The Russians are not fighting Ukraine, they are fighting 32 nations and nobody is backing down."

General Scheid is a Tiffin native and regularly speaks to groups about the military.
