Downtown Lima is thriving.
Wherever you look in downtown Lima, you see new development and progress. Downtown Lima Executive Director Betsy Billingsley told us there is a lot going on right now. She pointed to the Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheater, built by the Lima Rotary Club, as an example of the great development we've seen. Other exciting new projects in the past year include the Spring & Main restaurant and office complex, The Central District, ArtSpace Lima's Sugar Alley and a number of new small businesses. Downtown Lima plans events to bring people downtown including First Fridays, the Art Walk, Holiday Festival and Lantern Tours. Betsy told us that you can be part of downtown's revitalization by becoming a member of Downtown Lima, volunteering, and visiting downtown.
