Thank you to the Pangle and Kriegel families for their generous donation to the amphitheater!
What a busy, fun meeting! The Pangle and Kriegel families joined us to announce a major donation to the Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheater. The stage will be named the Pangle Pavilion in their honor. The Pangle and Kriegel famlies have a long history of business ownership dating back to 1924 when Howard N. Pangle, Sr. stopped on his way home from work to purchase some pipe tobacco at a corner grocery store and ended up buying the business for $1,000. Construction on the amphitheater is on schedule to be completed in January, then will come the landscaping, grass and walkways. A grand opening celebration is planned for August 4, 5 and 6. Thank you to the Pangle and Kriegel families for their generosity!
The Shawnee Boys Soccer Team also joined us Monday and we congratulated them on their state championship. Then we spent the rest of the meeting packing senior food boxes for the West Ohio Food Bank. Thanks to everyone who joined us and put service above self!
