David Collins introduced our speaker - the president of Bluffton University - James Harder, PhD
Mr. Harder gave us an updater on the Bluffton campus - founded over 114 years ago - the first higher educational institute in Allen County.
His talk also showed how valuable a college degree is in employment and salary.
He was also critical of the current college funding model - "the system is broken" - and must be re-invented.
