Seeking advice for how to grow or strategically manage your business?
Guest speaker Eric Wiechart told us that he turned to a nonprofit organization called Aileron to help him find purpose for his business, All Service Glass, and help him transition its leadership to the next generation, his daughter, Lima Rotary member Ann Welly, who is now All Service's president. "Aileron introduced me to people who have done this. Some of who have done well and some who have not done well." Eric told us that his and Ann's team worked hard on culture development, leadership development, people development, structure and key performance indicators. "You realize that the grass isn't always greener. Everybody has issues running their business. It's really not that easy." Eric told that with Aileron's help, they were able to achieve their goals and transition the business in less than five years. Eric was so pleased with the experience that he now works for Aileron as a business and leadership coach. "It is a very great experience to work with businesses. They've really been very delightful for me and enjoyable."
Also at Monday's meeting, we inducted Josh Unterbrink, the new President/CEO of the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce as the Lima Rotary Club's newest member. Please make him welcome!
