Business is good at the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center.
The Joint Systems Manufacturing Center is keeping busy manufacturing the Abrams M1A2 Tank, Stryker A1, M10 Booker, Namer Armored Personnel Carrier, M-SHORAD and MK46 Naval Gun Weapon System. The JSMC is managed by General Dynamics. The Director of Plant Operations, Gary Hadding, Project Manager (and Lima Rotarian) Dominic Inkrott, and Operations Engineering Manager Wes Neuenschwander told us that the plant's budget will be increasing five-fold by 2029 as the plant begins new hull and turret fabrication as well as some facility and infrastructure improvements and purchases new processing equipment. There are currently 856 General Dynamics employees at the plant and 81 employees of the U.S. government. The plant covers 369 total acres and has 1.6 million square feet of manufacturing floor space.

Also at Monday's meeting, Ronda Lehman became a Paul Harris Fellow and Dr. Susan Hubbell received her Paul Harris +3 pin. Thank you both for your generosity!
