Sgt of Arms report was handled by Bob Ruehl and reported that 88 Rotarians were present and guests of the club:
 
Dee Whitcraft Van Wert.
 
Micki Vollmer paid $25.00 to plug the upcoming fundraiser for the Allen Lima Leadership ---"Danger Gate" to be held on Saturday October 8,2011.
 
Dave Cockerell handled Fellowship and presented a check to the Lima Rotary foundation for $100.00 in memory of long time Rotarian Sol Oster from Harry and Myrna Shutt.
 
Dee Whitcraft introduced our speaker--Helen Bolanis the current District 6600 District Governor.
 
Helen is a member of the Toledo Rotary Club and did a wonderful job --"Rotary District 6600 Update"
 
Her message centered around the importance for all Rotarians to understand Rotary activities. To help stay current she led us around the new district website--RotaryDistrict6600.org  This website will be helpful in delivering information from RI to the District to the local clubs in a timely manner.
This  information will be the place where members can stay on top of District and local club activities and membership information.
She concluded her remarks by applauding the efforts of the Lima club with Rotary Interational activities and how RI and the district handles designated funds and the matching grant processes.
Esther Baldridge was the big winner of the Rottary drawing.
