Guest speaker Judy Riggle was not able to attend the meeting so Bob Ruehl spoke in her stead about ShelterBox and District 6600.
Past President Bob McPheron called the meeting to order at
Tom Martin led the invocation and pledge of allegiance.
David Runk led the membership in Happy Birthday to Paul Yessenow.
Mike Powell gave the Sergeant at Arms report, welcoming two guests and reporting 97 members at the previous week’s meeting.
Dave Collins then passed the bucket for Happy Dollars.
Fred Seelenbinder encouraged everyone to register online with Rotary International for the chance to win 1,000 recognition points. The drawing closes October 14.

ShelterBox is a disaster relief program that provides survival equipment to people affected by disasters. The large green boxes generally contain a tent, cooking utensils, water purification equipment, blankets and other items necessary to survival.
District 6600 is changing the way it allocates funds. It has $275,000 to distribute and will be asking additional people to sign off on the allocations to make sure the funds are being spent in accordance with Rotary guidelines.
