Rotary Training Talk

Prepare for the district training assembly
Your club officers will benefit from the leadership and team-building skills they’ll learn during their upcoming district training assembly. They’ll also hear about new district initiatives and how districts can support club innovations. Find exercises in the District Training Assembly Leader’s Guide to help your teams work together to define new goals and strategies for their year in office.

We recommend that club officers and committee chairs complete the courses for their roles before attending district training assembly sessions. Role-specific learning plans are available in the club leadership catalog.

Rotary’s position statement on COVID-19 vaccination
Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation have issued a position statement on vaccinations and COVID-19. Please read the statement and share it with your networks.

Tell us what you think about Rotary’s programs
Rotarians and Rotaractors can engage in a variety of programs that give members even more ways to connect with others and make an impact. In March, Rotary will send a survey about our programs and other offerings to a sampling of our members. If you receive a link to the survey, please take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us.

Training Tip

Link directly to Learning Center courses and learning plans
As a trainer, you recommend courses to officers and members, but you may not be sure which link to provide for a learning plan. Deep links that go directly to courses can be found in the course catalog. You can also find deep links to a set of courses that are part of a learning plan by downloading and using this Excel file. We recommend that you use these links on your club and district websites, in your email messages, and when promoting courses on social media.

Note: If you share this email with your members that have not been to the Learning Center before, they will need to go to rotary.org/learn, sign into My Rotary, and accept the privacy policy before you click the link to a specific course or learning plan. On mobile devices, links to the Learning Center may not work. Instead, go to the Learning Center through My Rotary, then search for materials or courses.

Follow the Learning Center on Facebook to get all of our updates.

Do you have a training tip to share? Send it to learn@rotary.org.
