Changing of the Guard

The new leadership of the Rotary Club of Lima was introduced, and the outgoing leadership recognized at the annual Changing of the Guard Party held on June 26th.  It was a very special night because the club also gave awards to four members, and those awards were named for former Rotarians whose outstanding and loyal service left their mark on, not only the club, but our community, and even the world.  The families of those late Rotarians were on hand for the honor.  The awards were:  The Rex Perry Club Service Award presented to Rita Brown, the John Rudolph Community Service Award to Art Brinkman, the Jack Goodnight International Service Award to Larry Webb, and the Wemmer Vocational Service Award was won by Keith Deters. We also heard an emotional tribute to the late Jack Goodnight and his international service.  Thanks to Michael Ayers for the photographs.
