We are thrilled to invite you to The Heart of Rotary Weekend, featuring our annual District 6600 Foundation Dinner Gala on Friday, October 23, 2026, followed by the District Peace Summit on Saturday, October 24.
Together, we will gather under the banner of "Local Impact. Global Peace. Our Polio Promise" at the John A. Spitzer Conference Center at Lorain County Community College to celebrate our collective impact, honor our foundation supporters, and mark World Polio Day.

- 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Major Donor Reception (An exclusive gathering for Major Donors, Arch Klumph Society members, and Bequest Society members)
- 6:00 PM | Registration, General Reception, & Fellowship
- 7:00 PM | Dinner Program & Awards
Program Highlights:
- Keynote Speaker, Isabel Scarinci, Ph.D., M.P.H., polio survivor and recipient of Rotary International's Six Champions of Health Worldwide for her advocacy and work with cervical cancer.
- Recognizing Generosity & Milestones: Celebrating our new Paul Harris Fellows and members who have leveled up this past year, alongside special recognitions for new Major Donors, and Paul Harris Society inductees.
- World Polio Day Recognition: Honoring Rotary’s commitment to a polio-free world with a PolioPlus campaign update and special recognition of top club contributions.
Attire & Color Theme:
In honor of World Polio Day, we encourage guests to wear business or smart cocktail attire with End Polio Now purple or Rotary red (or add a splash of color with a tie, scarf, or pin) as we gather for an evening of fellowship.
Plan to stay through Saturday for a transformative day featuring actionable sessions on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, inspiring keynote speakers, and practical breakout workshops.

Be sure to stop by our "Purple Pinkie" Station during registration to make a $5 or $10 donation for a painted pinkie in support of polio eradication!
