The Lima Rotary Board of Directors met on June 14. Among the items discussed and decided were the following:

  • Receivables remain very high so “past due” bills were mailed to approximately 50 members.  All members need to be conscientious about paying their dues.
  • A survey will appear in the Spoke to determine member interest in automated dues payment from personal checking accounts similar to utility bill payments.
  • A meal charge increase to $8.30 was approved.  A revised series of menu options are to be presented by Milano’s for Board consideration.
  • Goals for the new Rotary year and the 2011-2012 Budget were adopted.
  • An individual membership for Curtis Shepherd, Huntington Bank Community President, was approved
  • All Board members are now required to attend either the District Assembly or the District Conference each year of their term.
  • All Rotary Past Presidents, regardless of the club they served, will be recognized at the Change of Guard and included at the annual Past President luncheon.
  • The next meeting of the Lima Rotary Board of Directors will be July 12.
