Make your reservation now for the Rotary District 6600 Peace Summit.
The 2024 Rotary District 6600 Peace Summit, entitled Freedom Isn’t Free, will be held on February 17 at Lorain County Community College with three nationally known speakers and breakout sessions focused on action plans that Rotary Clubs and community groups can implement to promote peace through civic engagement. A key initiative of Rotary International is promoting peace by training adults and young leaders to prevent and mediate conflict. Building on the Rotary theme for 2023-24, “Create Hope in the World,” the Summit seeks ways to collaborate with community groups to promote peace in our communities, our country, and our world.
The Summit is open to Rotarians, non-Rotarians, and youth, with no admission charge or fees. Every Rotary Club in District 6600, which serves Northwest Ohio from Lorain County south to Mansfield and Lima and to the Indiana and Michigan lines, is invited to send Rotarians; and, we especially encourage community members and youth to join us! Our goal is 150 participants.
Secure your spot by registering here. The deadline to register is February 12.
