| Expand your network through Rotary Fellowships | June is Rotary Fellowships Month. This is a perfect time to explore your hobbies, interests, or profession through Rotary by joining a fellowship: an international, independently organized group of people who have a common interest. With more than 100 fellowships to choose from, you have many ways to connect with new friends outside your club, expand your international network, and find out how your hobby or profession is practiced around the world. | | |

| Attend a Rotary project fair | As you plan your service efforts for the upcoming year, consider attending a district-hosted project fair. Project fairs offer the opportunity to get involved in international projects and form lasting partnerships. By participating in a project fair, you can learn about local service activities and find a project to support while you experience a new culture through host-organized events. You can also use district grant funding to support your travel to and participation in Rotary project fairs in order to help your district identify project partners.

| Rotaract Club of Nakivale builds a corn mill at a refugee settlement | The Rotaract Club of Nakivale (Uganda), located in the Nakivale refugee settlement, built a corn mill that makes grinding maize more accessible for the community. In this video, actress Sibongile Mlambo and Rotary International President Jennifer Jones tour the mill.

Enhance Participant Engagement |

| Participate in a Rotary Friendship Exchange | You can experience a new culture, expand your global understanding, and immerse yourself in travel and service opportunities while building lifelong friendships through the Rotary Friendship Exchange program. If you’re interested in participating in an exchange during the upcoming year, here’s how to start: - Contact your district Rotary Friendship Exchange chair. Work with your district committee to determine what countries your exchange team wants to visit and use the Exchange Finder Map to locate participating districts around the Rotary world.
- Invite your friends, both inside and outside of Rotary, to take part. Exchanges can include individuals, couples, families, or groups, and the participants don’t have to be members.
- Understand that your district Rotary Friendship Exchange committee will coordinate the details of your exchange, including identifying a theme (culture, service, or vocation) and arrange the location, dates, transportation, itinerary, and housing based on what works best for both districts.
- Remember that Rotary Friendship Exchanges are reciprocal! If you’re part of an outbound team visiting another district, think about how you might participate as part of a host team welcoming your new friends to your community in the near future.
Be sure to take photos during your exchange! After you return home, share your photos and a report with Rotary International by writing to rotary.service@rotary.org. | |

Programs of Scale award recipient | The Rotary Foundation’s third Programs of Scale grant award supports an effort led by Rotary members to ultimately reduce the number of cervical cancer cases in Cairo, Egypt, by increasing awareness about cervical cancer and how to prevent it. The program will encourage the use of the HPV vaccine and promote cervical cancer screenings among women and girls in Cairo. Learn more about the recent finalists.
The application process for the 2023-24 Programs of Scale grant is open! Until 1 August, qualified Rotary and Rotaract clubs and districts can submit concept notes summarizing programs that have demonstrated success and are ready to expand over three to five years in partnership with other organizations.
