President Esther has ambitious goals for the next year.

Jim Chiles led the club in singing God Bless America. David Runk received his “President-Elect” pin - and I would imagine he will be busy this year as well helping Esther and celebrating our centennial. Peggy Ehora urged members to join the centennial committee: it will only be successful if we all participate.

For the July 14th meeting - there will be students from the downtown Lima School of Therapeutic Massage at our meeting offering 5 minute massages, with donations going to various nonprofit coffers.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for July 18th - ROTARY night at the Locos !! We will be hosting some special needs children for the game, and we will have sign-up sheets at the MON meetings for members wishing to help.

Our new president addressed the club today, and for some reason, I was left with the impression that the Lima club is the best Rotary Club in the World !! It could be the fact that Lima was the 143rd club in the organization, the many examples that Esther mentioned displaying our good works, or the fact that she said it a dozen times verbatim in her speech !!

In a seemingly “too coincidental to be coincidental” mode - Esther won $167 in the Rottery !!
