The Lima Rotary meeting was called to order by President Jerry Courtney. Jim chiles climbed on a ladder and led the Rotarians in reciting the 4-way test.
Jon rockhold gave the invocation and Jared Walsh gave the Sgt of Arms report that 92 members were present.
Ralph Ellis did his normal wonderful Fellowship report fining members for such trivial things such as: Tom Biddle for taking his parking place and Carl berger for taking his seat at the "bad boys" table.
Jonilee Schmidt presented a check to the Lima area Food Bank in the amount of $1101.00 from recent proceeds of our "Rottary"

Jim Bronder introduced the speaker :

Tom Grothous, a.k.a., "Mr wheels",  Dean of Technologies at the University of Northwestern Ohio and the host of a popular radio talk show aired on Wima radio dealing with autombile maintenance.

He did a great job in informing us of the technical aspects of our cars and how the new technology has made it more difficult for us to service our own cars.
Tom also informed us on the alternative energy cars that have become a new entry on the automobile landscape.
The program was very imformative and reminded me how wonderful the service technicians are when i need them.
